How To Be A Scene Kid..?

I was interweb surfing before on 'scene' shit, because I'm designing Jesse's merchandise, and as much as it sucks; scene sells.

But upon my surfing I found the BEST wikihow EVER. "How to Be A Scene Kid"

Jesse's playing Tony Hawk Project 8. <3 style="font-style: italic;">become scene. HAHAHAHA JUSTKIDDING!

I have a kitty on my lap...

Fang is sitting on my lap right now; which is new. I think he just growled at the keyboard...

I'm tired.
My back hurts because friggen princess [Brian] took my bed last night and I had to sleep on the futon.LAME.
I don't know where everyone went... Oh well.
My eye hurts.
Today Nancy and I are making dins.

:]
Tomorrow I have a Dr.'s appointment to find out WTF is wrong with my back.
Oh, and I don't have school... because it's winter break! AHA! :D

Excited. I can't wait until the friggen snow melts... then it will be more exciting. :D
I'm done.

What the fuck?

Bush relaxes Endangered Species Act.

I mean, lucky for us, he'll be out soon.... real soon.

Oh- and today's "Day Without a Bag Day" apparently. Meaning- don't take single use plastic bags from stores today. Get the re-useable shit, or just carry your shit out.

Oh- and today I finished this semester. Just in time for this FANTASTIC snow storm. Seriously, it's a lot of snow. I think it's the most snow we've had so far this year; which isn't saying much being that it only snowed 3x including this one.

Tonight's Jesse's Christmas show at the Spoon; too bad it won't be very Christmas-ie being that the Spoon got the crap fined out of them by ASCAP and BMI.

Whatevs, it's a relax day, I cleaned my car and everything. Let the websurf continue.

99 bottles of beer on the wall...

I feel like the past two weeks have been this ginormous countdown to the end of the semester.

Today puts me at... 4 days left! AHA!
But it's a quick day, so if I'm counting classes left... it'd be 2.
Tomorrow's gonna bite: Psych Final, and an Astronomy Test.
Then Thursday I'm free.
Then Friday I've got a 20 minute Astronomy test...

THEN I'M DONE!

Then next Thursday is Christmas, and on January 7th, Jesse and I are going to Florida, and on January 9th, WE'RE GOING TO THE BAHAMAS BABY!

It'll be great... now all I have to do is finish this stupid countdown to the end of the semester.
...And find a job.

Zombie Haiku?

Christmas zombie haiku? I've never written a haiku before, but I'll try, because Christopher Moore told me to!
And because I missed 6th grade, I need to put down how the fuck to format a haiku, or I'll forget:

five syllables,
seven syllables,
five syllables

Here it goes:

Dashing through the snow
Searching for another brain
Zombies ate Santa.

[Granted, that Santa is a two-syllable word...]

It started snowing today. Jesse and Erik were drinking, and apparently it had been snowing all the while, and we looked outside and there were all sorts of white shit covering my car. Totally sucked trying to dig out the car after that, and driving across town to Nancy's sucked, too. But hanging out with Jesse and Erik was very, very entertaining. We played some sort of picture game, which was hysterical. It was a lot of fun... we had a snowball fight, and Jesse and Erik played snow baseball or something like that...

ATHF is on, it's one of the episodes with the Moononites... which is interesting, because they're just computer chips giving Earth the middle finger. Frylock is stuck in Jukebox Hero mode... he's got stars in his eyes. [Line courtesy of ATHF] TV Sucks; I'm going to bed.... I'm going to try to sleep in tomorrow, last night kind of sucked.

Hasta la bye bye.

Ohh holy craaaap...

I thiink I blew my fooooot oofff!

It's been a while since I last updated. I'm at the jolly start of the Christmas season! 19 days until the big day!!

I've been really busy with school and homework and such... Even today, I've got loads of stuff to do... I just don't want to do it yet.

School's almost over, I think there's 13 days left of that. Then I get a month and a half vacation or something. A month and a half in which I'm going to Florida and the Bahamas with my love, Jesse! YAYAYAY.... I still need to tell my mom... My dad knows... I just forgot to tell my mom.

Three days before Thanksgiving, I was fired from Bally's.. Awesome. So I've been job hunting ever since. I'm qualified for training in January for Saf-T-Swim, but that place sucks. I don't want to get paid just above minimum wage to be peed on, pooped on, and vomited on. Ew. Jesse said that Citizens Campaign for the Environment is hiring, but that's a job in which I would need to collect pledges... which is hard work. But it pays well and it has to do with my major, so that'd be cool. My mom also said that she MIGHT be able to hook me up with a job at the county with her, where I might get paid $12/hr. Which is awesome. It just sucks that it's probably cubicle work. But I'll take what I can get as long as it's not Saf-T-Swim. :[

On Thanksgiving, I found out that my cousin's having a baby! Awesome! So that's exciting, but she's at high risk until the start of her first trimester because of some sort of infection she had when she was younger or something like that... so we can't get too carried away until she's taken off of high risk. But it's still exciting!

So yeah, I'm at Nancy's right now; Brian and I get to stay in Steven's room because Chuck leased a house by the Chateau La Mer. So the boys are going to stay there. And Brian and Dad are going to Aunt Diane's to pick up new furniture for the living room. Then dad's helping me with my First Aid paper on Firefighting... Which I think this is the first time my dad's ever helped me with my homework... and I'm in college.

Kristina's here... looking at everything I type.

PROCRASTINATION.

I'm procrastinating.... sort of.
I need to write out an index card for tomorrow's Music exam. :[
Then I need to start writing out my First Aid paper. :[

So, I'm here... listening to Beethoven's 5th Symphony, checking my Facebook, and procrastinating.
Jesse's at work. :[

Tomorrow I have to get Brian's schoolwork for him and bring it to my dad's; the idiot got OSS for cursing out a teacher.

I'm procrastinating.
I love Jesse.
Live at E's just came on.

I need to get my work done.

Monday, November 10, 2008

Sooo tired.

The last few days haven't been too eventful. I got a letter in the mail saying that starting on December 1st, I get to serve jury duty. I don't know if that means that my first trial is December first, or if they'll start to summon me on December first. The government has a way of complicating the simple things in life. I should have registered to vote as a Socialist... from what I hear, nobody calls socialists into jury duty.

I just found out that California offers an Earth Science class for their high schoolers, which means that Jesse and I can potentially move out to California and live there forever and ever. I'm excited. I need to find out the teaching requirements for the state, and I need to find out if it'll be looked poorly upon if I get my Masters Degree before even moving out there. But, if I get my Masters Degree, I'll at least be able to teach in colleges part time. :] California, we're on our way! <3

I have class at 12. I don't want to go, but I didn't save up any absences, so I have to. :[
I have to study for Astronomy, and for Music. Two tests, in a row. AND I have work tonight, at 10.

Jesse and I were supposed to go to an Islanders game tomorrow, with Megan and one of her friends, but I couldn't afford it, so we can't go. I don't get paid until this Friday. :[ Oh well, that just means I can stay in my pajamas all day tomorrow, granted my mom doesn't have off from work. But she'll probably have off from work because that's how my days off happen. :[ So instead of pajama day, it'll be slave labor day with mom, Brian, and I.

I wonder what I have to go through to get teaching in California... I really hope it works out for me. I guess whenever I plan a trip to Califorina, I'm going to go to school districts and ask them what I have to do, that way I can do it before I'm completely finished with school.

That's pretty much it, I'm going to meet up with Jesse after class <3.

you'll go down in history.

Last night, history was made. America elected the first black [well... half-black] President to come to office in January 2009. I'm proud to say that I took part in that history, by voting for Senator Obama to become president. I didn't do it because he's 1/2 black, I did it because he's looking out for more than just the wallets of the upper class. He knows that making nuclear power accessible is just a terrible idea. He gave us hope. Hope for more than just tax breaks, hope for health care. Hope for an affordable higher education. Hope that a teacher will finally earn the salary that he or she deserves. Hope that a woman will have the right to her own body. Hope that the offshore drilling will cease, and renewable resources will take action. Even if his promises of hope are not kept, the fact that he had the ideas in the first place is why I voted for Barack Obama. I would rather have faith in the promises that enforce what I believe in, than vote for a cookie-cutter campaign. I would much rather there be the possibility in the change that this world needs, than for it to never come up, and for McCain to make promises that only really adhere to the wealthy. I am so excited to see that Obama won the election. That in 2009, America will have it's first black President. That America can turn around and become the great country we pride on it being. Last night, when Obama won the election, I was crying as I saw all of the people in Kenya jumping for joy. I realized that people can stop dying now. Not in the inevitable old age way, but in war or genocide. I realize that Obama won't stand for the genocide in Darfur, and he will pull us out of combat in Iraq. My lifetime will no longer be a tragedy of the masses. Our troops can come home alive, and if they are put into Darfur, at least we know that they're actually fighting for a good cause, on something real. Something more than just the idea of 'terror'. I couldn't believe that the unneccesary killing might just stop. Again, my hope for things to come. I really do hope that Senator Obama keeps his promises. But even if he doesn't, it really does beat having Mrs. Palin in office. At which point this election was between a douche and a turd sandwich. I have hope for Obama. I am proud to say that I support Obama. And, I am ecstatic to say that I voted for Barack Obama.

[Plus I'm excited to run around like a ninny in my stepmom's house of Republicans chanting Obama's name and rubbing it in their faces that McCain lost. I do that part for fun. I'm 19, I don't have to be a mature responsible adult yet... SO I WON'T BE! AHAHAHAHHAHAHA!]

OBAMA! OBAMA! OBAMA!

WE HAVE HOPE!! YAAAY!!!!!!! HE WON!

JANUARY 09 WE'RE READY!!

11/4

I voted.
I voted Obama.
I hope he wins.
McCain is scary.
Very scary.
His VP Candidate is more scary.
I hope Obama wins.

Starbucks is giving out free coffee to voters.
Ben & Jerry's is giving out free ice cream to voters.
I guess if people don't vote for the sake of the country, they'll vote for the sake of free coffee and ice cream.
It's a good deal.

UGH.

I'm STILL sick.
Election Day is tomorrow.
TODAY is my psych test.
I should be getting ready for school.
I don't want to go to school.
I want to stay in bed all day. [including work]
But I have a psych test today.
I'm going to fail.
I don't want to be sick anymore. :'[

Halloween.

I don't understand how I'm sick for almost every Halloween. Right now I sound like a duck. I missed school today because I was running a fever this morning. I need to write the professor an email, to see what I've missed. Today's payday, so Jesse and I are going to PetSmart to get Bella a new house. I need to move my car into my driveway that way no stupid kids decided to shaving cream it or turn it on it's side. Jesse and I are relaxing tonight, I don't have work. We're going to hang out and watch movies. :D I'm excited :D.
I'm also excited to FREAKING FEEL BETTER.
Oh, and I got dragged into Facebook, again. :[

Wow. +10 for the American Government.

Ridiculous.

Yesterday's Pepper experience was nothing short of amazing. The entire day, great things happened. We get into the city, and eat Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., and the waitress gives us directions on how to get to Irving Plaza without a taxi. +1. Then, we go to Irving Plaza, and run into Kaleo and Melanie, at the Galaxy Eatery. We chat a little, and go to Union Square to explore Obama Fest. Jesse and I are relaxing, looking at the little merchant booth things, and all of a sudden: A FUCKING ZOMBIE INVASION! I'm totally serious. So we brave through the crowd of 200+ zombies, then we go back to the Galaxy to get something to drink. [Zombie slaying is exhausting] And we run into Brett, who SHOULD HAVE told us something VERY important, but was wrapped up in the game. So we keep going back and forth between Union Square and the Fillmore at Irving Plaza, passing time. And, Jesse and I found free, un-accounted for [because we DID check] money. YAY! FREE MONEY! ON THE FLOOR! WITH NOBODY TO CLAIM IT! WOOHOO!
Blahblah-fastforward. Met up with Erik. Watched Passafire from the top deck of the venue. Went to the lower part to see The Supervillains, and pushed to the front to see Pepper. I do believe that I only made it through 20 seconds of the first Pepper song up there. I got very overheated, and started hyperventilating, and started to cry. Jesse got me to the security guards, who escorted me in front of the stage to the trick staircase under the floor, back up to the main lobby, to the medic. The medics kept asking if I had too much to drink or smoke, but I did neither. Then they told me that I had an anxiety attack while I was in the crowd because I got too hot and couldn't handle it. So I waited outside for some fresh air, and they gave me a water bottle that I finished off within 5 minutes. So Jesse asked Pepper's merch dude: The Intern if he'd get me some water, so he did. Then the Coach came out and asked Jesse what happened, and Jesse told him I got overheated. Blahblah-fastforward. We went back in and spoke with Ted from Passafire, of whom is a TERRIBLY nice guy. And we went to see the ass-end of Pepper's set. The Coach came up for their encore, and made a comment about it being too hot in the venue, Jesse told me that he said it for me because he knew that I had to leave. So they played, it was great. Afterwards, we went BACK to the Galaxy and ate some Un-Chicken drumsticks, which were yummy. And we met up with Kaleo and Melanie again, and got proof that we know them, finally, because I FINALLY had a camera to take a picture with. We spoke to them for a while, told them that I had to leave because I couldn't breathe, and Melanie was like "Oh noo!" She was so nice, and Kaleo was like "OMG WTF?!?!??!?! ARE YOU OKAY?!?!?@#%$@#%#$%^" again, nice people. Upon parting, Kaleo gave me the stern command of "DONT GET OVERHEATED ANYMORE OKAY?!@" Haha. Then we went to meet up with Brett, and he finally told us that he meant to tell us but for some reason didn't, that, "I recognized you when you rolled into the Galaxy... I should've told you that there was a man and woman sitting just where you guys sat, before you, and as the man was eating his food, he started screaming 'WHAT THE FUCK IM NOT PAYING FOR MY FOOD!' and then my wife and I saw a cockroach crawling around the bar's surface, and the dude smashed it with his cigarette box. I mean, it was ONE little roach, it's not that big of a deal, you know." and Jesse and I were struck in horror because we had just eaten there. Brett was like, "I really don't know why I didn't tell you guys.... I'm sorry" Then they proceeded to talk equipment, Brett asked us if Remy did a good job with their sound... I told him that it knocked me on my ass. And they were talking gear, gear gear, and I was sitting there thinking that this is just like talking about different kinds of cheese. Jesse told Brett that I'm learning about instruments and stuff, and Brett was like, awesome, you're learning about each others shit... then he took pictures with us as proof that we know him, too. We caught his personal e-mail address. SCORE. Then we went home. We had to all take a taxi to Jesse's house and then Jesse dropped us off at each of our houses because Erik's sister Jenna was supposed to pick us up, but never answered her phone. I got home, mom got mad. End of the night.

On a Sunday morning...

So, the two weeks from Hell are over. GOOD. Now I get to start another two loong weeks. But, maybe being off from work on Halloween will help speed it along a little bit; especially since it's payday.

On Friday, Jesse's brother came in from Boston. We all ate pizza and played Music Scene It?. Then yesterday, we went over by the brand new Tanger Outlets in Deer Park, and looked around there for the second time. They have a PacSun outlet that's mundo cheap! And they've got a lot of beach stores that are still awaiting to be open. Today, Jesse, Erik, and I are going out to the city at around 12-ish. We're going to see Pepper at the Fillmore at Irving Plaza, so we're going to hang out in the city until 7 when the concert starts. I just formatted my memory card, and charged up my battery, so maybe, JUST MAYBE I'll have some DeviantArt worthy photos to FINALLY update my account.

Today I joined 'Twitter' which is like Facebook, only without the narcissism and you only get to work with one-liners. It's pretty cool... except nobody I know has it... so I'm kind of lonely on there. I'm doing what I can to stop using Facebook... this is my weening period. Haha.

Wednesday is my Stars and Constellations test in Astronomy for the Fall and Winter sky... and I do believe that it is quite difficult to just name one star out of a million, and put a constellation together out of nowhere... but I'm getting good at it.

It's time for me to get ready to go to the city. It's 9:11, and we're leaving for the train at 11:45... and I'm a girl so I should prob. get a head start on the guys. AHAHAHAHANOTFUNNY.

Weeeekend.

Tomorrow starts a whole new week :], thankfully. Last week was the week from hell. Seriously. On Monday a "patron" at Ballys threatened to "hunt me down", Tuesday I reported it, and the patron tried to follow me home. Wednesday, I relished the day off, but had to take two tests :[, Thursday, I had to take the rest of my Music midterm, and then I went to work, where I found out that the patron's membership is only being revoked for a week for now. Then on Friday, I went to 1st Precinct to file charges, so that they could do nothing and send me to the Courthouse in Central Islip, so that they could do nothing and send me back to the Police, so I called 1st Precinct and asked what I had to do, and they sent me to 3rd Precinct because the incident happened in their jurisdiction. So I filed the paperwork and everything.

On the brightside, at the start of my weekend, I got to wash my car [inside & out], and help mom rake leaves. But, last night I got sick because I got a pumpkin latte from 7-11, because I wanted to get an Obama cup, and the latte made me very sick. The latte and some cookies served as my dinner at 9pm, which is why and how I got sick. Jesse was there and he was taking care of me <3. Last night the Islanders lost. Sucks. But I got to go to my dad's house and hang with him for a while to pick up the Suffolk County firefighting handbook thing. I found out then that my dad's the only Obama supporter in his household. So Jesse and I told him to stay strong, haha.

And today is Sunday. I have lots of stuff to do today. I need to start writing my paper for First Aid on firefighting, I need to start writing my Psychology papers, and I need to study for Wednesday Astronomy test. And, I need to study my constellations... there's going to be a test on that, soon, too. :[

I have no political banter for today. But the Election sure is a hot topic. And I only notice, because I'm finally old enough to vote, and this is my first election! :D I didn't notice if there was any commotion during the Bush election, though now I know that there was a buttload of commotion because the babbling idiot technically shouldn't have been elected.

Math Debate?

Last night was the third and last Presidential debate. It was at Hofstra, which is like.. 20 minutes from my house. Yaay, Long Island! Jesse and I were going to go to the debate, but decided against it, supposedly Hofstra and Nassau Community College were zoo's.

The debate was ridiculous, McCain's going to try to get rid of teaching certifications. Which means that anyone off the street can be a teacher, which is utterly retarded. He also is pushing really, really hard for the offshore drilling being a regularly re-occuring thing. Gay!

But, Richard Lewis was on the Daily Show and made last night better. Plus, Jesse and I carved our pumpkin! <3

Thanks, A Lot PETA....

Nah, I'm just kidding... there's like a 90% chance that PETA didn't have anything to do with this....

"Huge, Freed Pet Pythons Invade Florida"
"Fla. Scientists Hunt Predatory Pythons"

"The ecological outlook is equally grim. Second only to habitat loss, invasive species are a leading cause of species endangerment and extinction both in the United States and worldwide. Almost half of the species on the U.S. endangered species list are threatened wholly or partly by introduced species. Steven A. Williams, director of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, calls invasive species the number one environmental threat to the United States."

Last night, when I was out with Jesse at Looney Tunes to meet Pete Best, I overheard John and Jaime talking about these pythons that John saw a special on, on the History Channel or something. John was saying that these pythons are growing big enough to expand their jaws to be wide enough to fit over adult male bodies. So, those of whom are in the Everglades, could possibly be taken in their sleep by these gigantic pythons.

John was also talking about Polar Bears and Brown Bears beginning to mate, creating the world's largest, most ferocious bear... ever. But apparently, this is old news...

Anywho, Jesse and I met Pete Best last night. He was the original drummer of the Beatles. He was alll buisness. Seriously. But that's okay, we got to hang out with the entertaining cast of Looney Tunes, and it was a fun night out with my love <3.

Tonight I have work. Boooo! And, tomorrow's going to be one of those long days again. But! I don't have work! YAAY!

So, I think I'm done... there's nothing really new and exciting left... well, other than that Jesse bought Bella a leash! I CAN WALK MAH BUNNAY!! :D
Ok, now I'm done.

Is it a break, or procrastination?

I'm taking a break from the 4 paper I just wrote... My brain hurts. but not only from the papers. Probably also from the fact that last night I was really drunk. Really. So I get to deal with my hangover... which isn't that bad, it's just a headache.

Yesterday was Jesse's birthday, so he had his friends come over his house, and we all drank ourselves into oblivion. It was a lot of fun. We were drunk, some were stoned, and we were watching the Presidential Debate... or at least trying to. We're such party animals. Bobby brought White Castle, though, which was great. For some reason I decided that eating my White Castle burger box was a great idea. You know, fiber for the day. So, yeah, we tried to pay attention to politics, even though the only thing I got out of the whole debate was Sen. McCain comparing the height of Asians to the height of Americans, for some reason. We all thought that was funny. We watched the debate, and then put on The Yellow Submarine. Party Animals. Haha, that's okay, we had fun. I almost died laughing like, a hundred times. I woke up this morning, and I'm pretty sure I was still drunk. Walking was a difficult task. But I got lucky, I didn't have to vomit or anything. I did good. :D

I'm watching The Muppets Take Manhattan right now, it just took me the length of the movie, V for Vendetta to write 3 papers. I'm trying to get all of my homework done before tomorrow so I can just relax all day tomorrow. But since I'm taking a break right now, I don't know if I'll go back to doing homework because my brain hurts so bad. I don't know. I'm not interesting today. I blend in with today's weather... overcast, grey and blaaaand.

Wednesday, September 24, 2008

lol @ politics.

Today, I think was the second day of my life where I was attentively watching a news channel for longer than 3 seconds. I witnessed first hand a groundbreaking publicity stunt on the part of Sen. McCain. Or at least, everyone THINKS its a publicity stunt, including myself.

First this happened:

Then, this happened! [Like an hour later]:

And then, suprisingly, THIS happened!:

Then, lastly, this happened and made it all better:

I haven't watched this much news coverage since my 12th birthday. [9/11/01] So I wonder what will happen. Rumor has it, that this is going to seriously harm McCain's campaign. Especially the fact that he's keeping Palin away from the media or anything with a "record" button, for that matter. I guess she's dumb enough to foil his plans? I don't know. I heard also, today that McCain's pulling this crap because he doesn't have any more money for his campaign.

I also learned, that I cannot have an intellectual political conversation with my mother without any backup. Because as she's 48, and I'm 19, I obviously know NOTHING about politics WHATSOEVER. And thereby don't know who's better for this country that I fear so much is going to destroy the world if something doesn't change.

Last night on The Daily Show, magic was made:

Tuesday, September 23, 2008

Quickie.

I'm entirely behind the loop on the whole political shit that's been going on. I found out about the stock market like ... 3 days after the economy was almost destroyed.

I found out about the offshore drilling proposal [which is bullshit that's just going to prolong our problem and kill our animals!], just about yesterday which was six days later than most everything happened.

I found out about the SNL skit with Palin and Clinton far later than it had happened... crap I hate being out of the loop.

What I was shown when I was a kid:

That's only 1/3 of the episode.. but it's friggen EPISODE ONE OF CAPTAIN PLANET! Our government should watch it, maybe they'll grow some smarts.

There's a Rumbly in My Tumbly...

I'm so hungry right now... but there's nothing to eat here. :[

Moon is home for the weekend, so I got to hang out with her for most of the day yesterday, which made me so excited! We got bagels and went to the park and got chased by bees. Then we went over to Sean's house, and hung out over there for the majority of the day playing Rock Band 2. And we watched funny videos making fun of Palin, and stuff. It was a lot of fun. I'm excited to go to visit Moon upstate at her school. [And sit on the big green chair, duh.]

Yesterday my mom had the block BBQ. It was pretty awesome. It was fun to see everyone on the block together. We apparently got some new neighbors... they're really nice. One of them, Jackie, is a high school teacher and a swim coach. It was like seeing myself in the future... it was weird. I saw Courtney, and her foot after the surgery. Poor Courtney, she's been hobbling around for 3 weeks, and has at least 6 more to go.

Yesterday Jesse was recording for the whole day. They recorded one of the tracks for the album, and I listened to it and it sounded really good. He did a great job, and so did Erik on the tracking. So, I didn't see him until around 8:30 at night, which sucked. But it happens. I saw him after, and that's all that matters.

So now I'm here at my dad's, contemplating if I want to stay awake or go back to sleep. If I stay awake I've got to do my homework and such. If I go back to sleep, well... then I'm asleep. Oh the dilemmas of life!

Dad bought me my new comforter set yesterday. Now my room is almost complete! I just need to buy a pillow, and then I'll be ALMOST DONE! I need to still build/get a skateboard rack. I think building one would be more beneficial for me, rather than spending $40+ that I don't have. So I gotta get on that... I just have to figure out how... But after the skateboard rack is up, I'm done! :D My new room is friggen AWESOME. I want to see if I can get some Jim Henson Muppet posters/pictures or something... it'd be awesome to have that around my room. :D

Friday, September 19, 2008

Ughh.

I woke up early this morning to get in the shower for school. But I'm not going to class today. It's a double period of Astronomy, and I feel like crap. I figure I can do the lab and everything at home, in the comfort of my own bed.

I checked my paycheck, and it's crap this week... I was going to go to Waldenbooks and partake in the Buy 4, get 1 free sale... but I don't have the money to actually buy 4 comic books... uh, "GRAPHIC NOVELS"..yeah.

Last night, dad took me and Brian to dins. Before we left my mom decided it would be fun to talk politics with two members of the opposing view to hers. Dad and I schooled her to the point where she got frustrated and was like "UGHHH, ALRIGHT COURT!!! >:O" It was nice. [OBAMA!OBAMA!]

Jesse's teaching me how to play the drums, and so far I only have one beat somewhat down-pat. I like it, it's really fun, and helps my brain to multitask.

Del Mar's looking to play skateshops across the U.S.... I wonder if they'll want to play my imaginary skatepark that will be up in action in approximately 15 years? Maybe they'll wait for me.. Haha.

I'm going to take a stab at taking an oath to Surfrider Foundation to Rise Above Plastics. I was going to send them a check, but this week's paycheck is telling me that I need to keep my money... I'm poor. Anyway, I'm going to cut my plastic use by a lot. I already recycle plastic bags, and I haven't been really using plastic bottles. I have my Camelbak BPA FREE re-useable bottle for that. Plus, I recycle like a madwoman. Hell, I've even recycled my old Build-A-Bear boxes in making them my rabbit's hideaway room... She loves it! And I like to make a use out of an intended one-time-use item. :]

I think tonight I'm going to my dad's house? I don't know. My mom's having a BBQ tomorrow and she told me that we're not staying by dad's, we're staying here.... I'm confused.

Dad gave me part of my birthday gift last night... it was the picture I drew for my 5th grade school concert that made the cover of it, and he framed it so I could put it on my wall. It's crazy, I remember bringing home the concert "playbill"[?] and being so excited that my art made it to the cover. That I was that much better than everyone else. That I was actually a special kid. [No, not "get your helmet on!" special.] It's even crazier that I look at the date of that playbill thing, and it's dated back to 1999. 1999! Before the 2000 bug! Before Y2K! Before I started to enjoy English! Before I went to highschool! Before GRADUATING FIFTH GRADE!! [That was a big step...] Before 9-11. Before Bush?! See: things were good before the country started being greatly affected by that hillbilly. I mean, duh! My art was special back then... now everyone thinks it's "okay". Was 1999 before No Child Left Behind? Shit... I don't remember... how old was I when Brian should've gotten left back, and just went to summerschool instead... He was in 2nd grade... I was in 4th... so that was 1997-1998.. Okay, so maybe it wasn't before No Child Left Behind. But it was DEFINATELY before they added 500 new Pokemon to the original list of 150. Although, they did add Mew. And Togepi? So they had 152 by that time. Still, now they've got to have at least one thousand. Ridiculous. 1999 was before a lot of things. Wow. And it's almost 10 years ago. Wow.
